For those who aren’t scared of the dark. Sumatra conjures up the image of when I was young, coming down stairs and seeing my father in his bathrobe, cigarette in mouth, ashes about an inch long hanging on for dear life, reading the newspaper. I can even smell it now, “Bold, musty, woodsy, and darkened by the rigors of life and absolutely worthy of plunging a cookie into the cup. Sumatra carries all of those notes in our heaviest roast, but definitely not over-roasted.”
